Growing up as a child of the 90s, Beverly Hills 90210 was the only television show my parents allowed me to watch. This means my love for and obsession with the show is as strong as some people feel about Star Wars. I’ve watched the reruns a few times too, so I’ve seen every episode at least three times. Now, I’m planning a similar obsession with the new show.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Television Without Pity, Go Fug Yourself, and Defamer, but mostly to Daniel Drennan and his astoundingly hilarious recaps of the original series. Without those recaps, I don’t know if I would have made it through the dark days of seasons 7 and 8.
